Together for excellence. Sales Operations Mercedes-Benz Cars (SC/SO) ensures the optimal supply of Mercedes-Benz cars worldwide. On the one hand, we produce forecasts of the sales and production program for the precontrol of our works and suppliers and on the other hand we control the order processing and planning as well as the customer-oriented coordination of the vehicle delivery. Within our SC/SOD department, we plan and control the market supply so that every vehicle is available in the desired configuration at the right time in the right place. We thereby contribute decisively to avoiding bottlenecks and delivery difficulties. Our team controls the transports of approx. 2.0 million. Cars across the globe. This complex control is possible on the one hand by our distribution system (DISY), to which more than 100 shipping companies, shipping companies and ports are connected worldwide. On the other hand, we are driving forward the topic of digitization, in which we automate manual processes and reports by e.g. RPA (Robotics Process Automation) and BI Tools and thus generate efficiency in the entire field. Your tasks in detail: With us you become part of a dedicated team and actively participate in the decisive processes around our new car vehicles. You will accompany the start-up of new models from close proximity and get exciting insights into the interaction of production, logistics and sales.

A special focus of your activity is on the global disposition of our vehicles. Together with the team, you coordinate international supply flows and contribute to ensuring that our vehicles arrive reliably and on time in the markets. Your work has a direct influence on the fact that our customers can take over their vehicle on time and in the usual Mercedes-Benz quality.

To optimally control our processes, you work with analysis and reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI. You prepare data, analyze relevant key figures along the supply chain and develop meaningful dashboards and reports. This allows you to specifically expand your analytical know-how and gain valuable practical experience in data management.

A varied mix of analysis, operational control and international cooperation awaits you in everyday work. You take responsibility for your own topics, introduce your ideas and actively shape – ideal for those who work structuredly, show initiative and want to bring their enthusiasm to the automotive world.

You are studying an economic, engineering or IT-related study programme (e.g. business informatics, BWL, economic engineering, etc.)

You have fun working with data and bringing a good analytical understanding

Excel belongs to everyday life for you – ideally you already have first experience with Power BI or comparable tools

You are sure to deal with large amounts of data and are interested in understanding relationships in complex processes

First knowledge of data analysis, reporting or process optimization are a plus

You work structured, think solution-oriented and like to introduce your own ideas

You feel comfortable in an international environment and communicate safely in German and English

Ideally, you have first experiences with databases, SQL or automation tools

Interest in automotive processes, logistics or supply chain management
