In the role of Senior Expert*in Group Accounting, you take a central role in Group-wide accounting for the EMKA Group, consisting of over 30 companies. The area of responsibility includes in particular: Preparation and analysis of the periodic consolidated financial statements and support for individual financial statements according to HGB. Operational consolidation and further development of Group-wide consolidation processes including Optimization of Intercompany voting. Preparation of regular group reporting, as well as preparation of analyses and presentations on balance sheet, GuV, cash flow and relevant KPIs for management and stakeholders. Creation of planning at the level of individual companies and for the group. Implementation of new topics in the Group Accounting Directive. Ensuring data quality, consistency and transparency. Coordination and optimization of group-wide final and reporting processes as well as close cooperation with internal departments. Contact person for auditors:internal and external consultants. Support for special topics, projects and integration processes.
Complete economic studies, ideally focusing on accounting, group accounting, accounting/controlling or a comparable qualification. Multiannual professional experience in the finance/accounting environment, preferably in medium-sized industrial companies or in the audit. Very good accounting knowledge for HGB as well as experience with complex issues. Embossed analytical and conceptual skills as well as a deep understanding of finance/accounting processes and systems. Safe handling of MS Office and ideally comprehensive practical experience with consolidation software, e.g. Lucanet. Responsible, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation with high communication and presentation strength. Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English.
