Working Student Hardware and Embedded Software Development (m/f/d)

• Cooperation with the development team

• Support in the development of embedded software in C, C++ and/or Python

• Implementation of prototypes for analysis and verification of security mechanisms in mobile radio protocols (LTE, 5G, Wifi etc.)

• Participation in the creation of reports and presentations

• Continuous study of electrical engineering, computer science, communications technology, IT security or a comparable course

• Good programming knowledge in C and/or C++; first knowledge in Python

• Basic understanding of embedded systems, software defined radios and their hardware interfaces

• interest in mobile technology (e.g. LTE, 5G) and protocol analysis; Previous knowledge in this field is a plus

• Analytical thinking, careful working and interest in security issues

• Good knowledge of German and English
