Analysis and documentation of the existing manual process Identification of weaknesses and automation potentials Research and evaluation of suitable automation solutions and technologies coordination of technical and technical requirements with relevant interfaces (e.g. IT, production, engineering) Development and evaluation of implementation scenarios in terms of benefits, effort and risks Objective of the work: Creating a well-founded feasibility study for the automation of a currently manual process Development of a target image for the specific design of automation deriving concrete recommendations for action as a basis for the further implementation

Studies in mechanical engineering, automation engineering, production engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or process engineering Interest in technical processes and automation topics Basic understanding of production or technical processes – acquired by study or practical experience Analytical thinking and structured working Secure handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
