In the raw construction, we develop the structural cell and the design-precipitating components of the vehicle from the point of view of efficient lightweight construction from the materials steel, aluminum and fiber-reinforced plastics. As part of the competition analysis, we analyze and evaluate the raw structures of competition vehicles and forward this information to our construction departments so that the technology leadership of Mercedes-Benz will be backed up in the future. These challenges come to you: Determination of the requirements for visualization of production costs in the raw building

Analysis and evaluation of visualization methods with regard to their suitability for the application in raw construction

Development of a standardized procedure for data collection and visualization of the production costs of the components/components

Application of the procedure to about 22 vehicles (BEV/ICE vehicles)

Evaluation of the visualizations of the vehicles with regard to similarities and vulnerabilities

The final topics will be discussed with the university, you and us. The activity can start from October 2026.
