The economic promotion and technology transfer Schleswig-Holstein GmbH (WTSH) is supported by the state of Schleswig-Holstein, the industrial and commercial, as well as the trade chambers and the universities of the country and is the central economic support company in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein.

The WTSH is the 'OneStop agency' for all companies who want to build or expand business activities in Schleswig-Holstein. WTSH sees itself as a customer- and service-oriented economic support facility. It aims to sustainably promote the economy in Schleswig-Holstein.

The management works closely with the shareholders of WTSH, their Supervisory Board and their clients. It strongly represents the interests of the Schleswig-Holstein economic and technology policy to the outside (e.g. in bodies at the federal and state level).

Strategic development of the company: Future-oriented positioning and content management of WTSH as a driver of innovation, location development and technology transfer. Modern corporate governance: leadership and communication with clear attitude inward, organisational and personnel development as well as economic management of the company. Proactive coordination and communication within central partner structures: close cooperation with political decision-makers, shareholders, funding institutions, chambers, regional economic promoters and municipalities. Design of the business location of Schleswig-Holstein: Development and implementation of effective location marketing strategies focusing on innovation, internationalisation and sustainable settlement policy. Innovation and investment promotion: Strategic initiation of business-related funding programmes, technology transfer and innovation advice, especially for SMEs. Cluster and network development: building, care and strategic management of regional and international networks, cluster structures and technology-oriented ecosystems. International orientation and representation: control of foreign offices, support for external activities and representation on international stages.

Graduate or Master's degree in a discipline relevant to the task Pronounced leadership skills; multi-year leadership experience with outstanding responsibility in an organizational unit with middle and larger teams Multiannual professional experience in thematically relevant fields of activity - ideally in the fields of economic development, technology transfer and cluster or location development expressed communicative skills at all levels, including challenging situations, resilience, negotiation skills and enforcement, Coordination and organisational capacity Business thinking and action and a strong understanding of innovation and technology issues Experience at international level and/or in the field of foreign trade is as beneficial as experience in the area of settlement A strong understanding of the peculiarities of economic and technological development and knowledge in the public legal context (e.g. grant, budget and award law) are desirable.
