Following tasks await you:

• Technical support of projects from build phase to deployment
• Network configuration (routing, switching, wireless)
• Network and IP Management (IPAM, Monitoring Tools, CMDB)
• Analysis of the causes of infrastructure and network problems and their elimination in a time-critical environment
• Creating technical documentation for new and existing network designs, implementations, processes and tools

We wish:

• A completed university degree in electrical engineering, computer science, communication technology, or a comparable qualification
• Expertise in routing, switching and network security (e.g. Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)
• Experience with SDN solutions (Cisco ACI, SDA) as well as LAN and WLAN infrastructures with Cisco technologies
• Understanding IT Services (Active Directory, SCCM, IAM) and Virtualization (vmWare, Hyper-V)
• Knowledge of programming and scripting (e.g. Python, YAML, JSON)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools and their principles
• Creative thinking, readiness to change and focus on continuous improvement
• Target orientation, deed and enthusiasm
• Embossed communication and team skills, including moderation and listening
• ability to prioritize and decision-making, even under time pressure
• Experience in creating precise written work documents
• Self-employed work and leadership in international teams
• Negotiating knowledge of English, experience in German, French and/or Spanish
