Engineer for network management concepts (a*)

You advise asset management on major projects and develop special switching states for the investment program. Using a network planning software, you plan complex shutdown requirements for the following years and ensure long-term network stability. As our expert (a*) for implementing highly complex legal requirements, you develop the technical concepts – from cascade control according to § 13.2 EnWG to the Redispatch regime to the taxability check according to § 12 para. 2b EnWG – and training the personnel of the network control center for the legally secure implementation. Detailed analyses for optimizing the network operation start and answer the maintenance and further development of the high-voltage network model. You make sure that the HEO functions in the network control system are always based on precise data records. The network parameters you monitor and are responsible for the generation and matching of the network calculation model. You will develop opinions on technical and economic policy issues and promote pilot projects to implement normative innovations. You are a central interface to partners such as TSOs, authorities and engineering offices.

You have a completed (special) university degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification, combined with several years of professional experience in the field of network operation. You are able to stay calm even under pressure, make decisions quickly and take responsibility. Your instructions are clear, precise and unambiguous – especially in critical situations. You are a reliable contact for our specialist departments and neighboring network operators. You have a well-founded knowledge of the relevant standards and guidelines, and you're planning a safe handling of IT systems and ideally the first project experience. A pronounced communication and organizational capability as well as a service-oriented and team-ready operation. A safety check is also required for this body.
