Senior Consultant Azure Virtual Desktop (m/f/d)

Cloud & AVD Consulting: You advise our customers holistically and are not only responsible for the virtual desktop, but you design and implement the complete Azure infrastructure on which modern workloads run safely. You connect infrastructure expertise with DevOps methods and drive automated, repeatable deployments. AVD & Modern Workplace: You design scalable AVD architectures (host pools, workspaces) and migrierst legacy VDI solutions (e.g. Citrix/VMware) on native Azure Services. You can handle image management (Windows 10/11 Multi-Session) and application provision (e.g. MSIX App Attach). Cloud Infrastructure: You build the cloud foundation of our customers. This includes networking (VNet Peering, VPN/ExpressRoute), storage solutions and governance guidelines (Azure Policy). DevOps & CI/CD: ''Click-Ops'' in the portal is not an option for you. You develop CI/CD pipelines (Build & Release) in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to provide and maintain fully automated infrastructure and AVD components. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): You translate customer requirements into code. You develop modules and templates using Terraform or Bicep to raise whole environments at the touch of a button. Security & Identity: You implement security concepts for infrastructure and endpoints using Microsoft Entra ID (Conditional Access, MFA), Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Azure Firewall.

Cloud Infrastructure Expert: You have sound knowledge in Core Azure Services (IaaS, Networking, Storage, Identity). AVD Specialization: You know the architecture of Azure Virtual Desktop in detail, understand the dependencies between Control Plane and Session Hosts and have experience in sizing and cost optimization of VDI workloads. Your expertise is ideally underlined by relevant certifications such as AZ-140 (AVD Specialty) or AZ-104 (Admin). CI/CD & DevOps: You have demonstrable experience in building CI/CD pipelines (YAML) and understand how to deploy code changes safely across different stages (Dev/Test/Prod). Automation & Scripting: You are saddle-proof in at least one IaC language (terraform or bicep) and use PowerShell or Bash to automate administrative tasks. Identity & Network: Deep knowledge in Microsoft Entra ID (Hybrid Join scenarios) and solid networking skills (routing, DNS, connectivity) are of course for you. AI Competence: You use AI tools in your area of expertise, evaluate the results critically and support customers and adessi to use potentials of AI. Language knowledge: Very good German and good English skills.
