Strengthen our team as a designer (m/w/d) and actively shape the future of our technological solutions. In this demanding position you take over the demand- and production-oriented development of electromechanical components as well as complex assemblies. From the first 3D realisation concept to the selection of suitable standard parts up to series maturity, you will accompany the entire product life cycle in the predetermined quality, time and cost framework. A versatile interface function awaits you in which you drive technical innovations and introduce know-how in the application of future-oriented methods. Your tasks: Analysis of higher-level requirements and production of 3D construction solutions suitable for manufacturing, taking into account existing components, and support in the cost and manufacturing cost assessment Binding coordination of all technical interfaces with internal specialist departments as well as external customers and suppliers including co-decision in the selection of manufacturing suppliers Technical review of the standard technical product specification and continuous product data processing in the SAP PLM system Control of contracted subcontractors and the planning, supervision and implementation of integration activities, engineering tests and acceptances for the first product Implementation of the series certification for the responsible units, including the work for the serial start, as well as technical support in the production of external customer documentation and sales processing Development and maintenance of control mechanisms (e.g. work and process instructions) in the context of electromechanical product development Analysis and optimization of the development process: cooperation in the evaluation of existing processes & methods, identification of potentials and derivation of improvement measures

Complete bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, precision engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification First professional experience in the 3D CAD design as well as first engineering experience in machine or plant construction combined with a thorough understanding of mechanics, materials technology, optics and electrical engineering Good user knowledge in SAP-PLM as well as safe handling of MS Windows and the current MS Office applications, ideally complemented by knowledge in Siemens NX Embossed interest in policy work / process modeling Good English language skills in word and writing Structured, goal-oriented and independent mode of operation is characterized by a high level of commitment, creativity, reliability and strong organisational skills, even under high stress Global readiness
