The communication, information and media center (KIM) is the central service facility of the University of Hohenheim for communication technology, digital information processing and the media supply of the university. The IT support, client and identity management department of KIM is responsible for the safe operation and further development of identity and authorization management (OpenText NetIQ IAM) incl. the multifactor authentication and the associated directory services OpenText NetIQ eDirectory and OpenLDAP. To support this important area, we are looking for a:n Expert:in Identity Access Management (IAM) (m/w/d)

System administration and further development as well as troubleshooting and troubleshooting of the OpenText NetIQ IAM/eDirectoy- und OpenLDAP- incl. 2-nd-level support as well as taking appropriate measures to protect the systems against cyber attacks Provision and configuration of interfaces that provide the different IT systems of the University based on Windows and Linux with data from users: Technical support in the expansion and further development of multifactor authentication System administration and further development of the OpenLDAP cluster and Shibboleth server Working in projects and corresponding working groups within and outside the university

Completed scientific studies (certified master or equivalent) of the field of computer science or a comparable field of study or comparable qualification Comprehensive knowledge in the operation of a user administration (OpenText NetIQ IAM) and a directory service (OpenText NetIQ eDirectory), directory service based on OpenLDAP and in the operation of a distributed authentication and authorization procedure for web applications (Shibboleth identity provider) In-depth knowledge in the field of current Linux server systems (system administration), script languages (e.g. Shell, JAVA) and containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) Team spirit and ability to work on new topics independently Conceptual competence, strong quality awareness, good communication and cooperation capability and a high level of service orientation mastery of the German language fluent in word and writing. Good knowledge of English is required
