Senior Account Manager (m/w/d) We, the Evangelisches Klinikum Niederrhein gGmbH, are an academic teaching hospital of the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf and are one of the largest donors in the region. With around 1,350 beds, 3,300 employees and numerous clinics and specialist departments, we provide comprehensive medical care at the highest level at our locations in Duisburg, Oberhausen and Dinslaken – innovative, patient-oriented and forward-looking.

The association includes the Evangelical Hospital Duisburg-Nord, the heart centre Duisburg, the Johanniter Hospital Oberhausen and the Evangelical Hospital Dinslaken. For our administrative location in Duisburg Hamborn, we are looking for a deputy management (m/w/d) of finance and accounting in full time at the next possible time.

Deputy technical and organisational management of financial and accounting Step by step takeover of total responsibility as part of a structured handover and further development of financial and accounting Management and monitoring of financial accounting (debitor, creditor, property accounts and asset accounting) Ensuring the completion of the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts for the total network of three locations, subsidiaries and medical care centres Creation of account and participation reports Central contact person for external tax consultants, auditors and audit offices Co-responsibility for the preparation of economic and budgetary plans taking into account the relevant legal and budgetary requirements Professional leadership and further development of a team of around 20 employees

Complete university studies in the field of business, accounting or comparable qualifications Successfully completed training on/to account holder:in Multiannual professional experience in financial and accounting, preferably in hospital and/or Health care, corporate structures or audit Multiannual leadership experience with proven competence in the professional and personal development of employees Embossed expertise in the design, implementation and optimization of financial and controlling processes as well as sound knowledge of modern planning and reporting instruments for corporate management First practical experience in digitalization and optimization projects in financial and accounting Entrepreneurial thinking and a strong willingness to take over overall responsibility in the medium term and to conduct a department independently
