Number: MER0003NWX Mercedes-Benz Cars Operations is responsible for car production with more than 30 plants worldwide within a flexible and efficient global production network with around 78,000 employees on five continents. The area PP/DP deals with the central design, implementation, further development and control of digitalization in the MO. This ensures a coordinated and MO-oriented approach. In addition, digitization is to become a central component of the production system. Lessons-learned from the line and new findings in the upstream processes should complement each other.

MO360 is the digital ecosystem for the vehicle production of Mercedes-Benz worldwide, with the aim of generating a significant contribution to efficiency through digitization for Mercedes-Benz operations. For our team we are looking for a student support that has fun in data analysis and software development. The aim is to set it up on the basis of our configuration tool and to develop it further. In addition, extensive data analyses and visualizations are in focus. Your responsibilities in our interdisciplinary team of experts: Development of a Configuration Tool in Quality in Production Deep data analyses focusing on data quality Self-development and conception of innovative UI/UX approaches to the further development of our tools Working with the design of innovative analysis and reporting solutions using Power BI Support in the identification, specification and design of new use cases for process digitization and harmonisation Active preparation and preparation of documents, workshops and their results There is then the possibility to supplement a successfully completed internship with a final thesis in the same subject field or similar The internship can start from September 2025.
