The Department of Environmental Effects and Sensorics focuses on the investigation of emissions of electrified aviation drives. This includes, in addition to the formation of particles, heat and moisture and the development of sound by the individual components of the electric or hybrid-electric drive train, the alternating effects and possible mitigation measures, also the investigation of sustainability and effect on humans.
