Our five-member “Regulatory & Tax Compliance, Data Protection” department ensures that our company complies with regulatory requirements and processes sensitive data responsibly. In your role as a data protection officer, you take the following tasks: Central responsibility for the data protection function: As a data protection officer according to Art. 37ff GDPR You take the tasks according to Art. 39 GDPR and monitors compliance with all data protection requirements. You act as an independent entity and are professionally directly subordinate to the board. Strategic advice at top management level: You advise the Executive Board, departments and IT in all data protection issues and develop practical solutions that align regulatory requirements with business objectives. Further development of the data protection organization: With a long view, you continuously develop the data protection function within the bank and the group and establish efficient structures, processes and standards. Interface to authorities & stakeholders: As a central contact person, you represent the bank to data protection supervisory authorities, internal and external auditors as well as customers and ensure a sovereign and professional communication. Project support in future-oriented topics: You accompany strategic projects in particular in the areas of cloud use, artificial intelligence and international data transmission and evaluate them from a data protection perspective. You have knowledge of the GDPR, the BDSG and relevant regulatory requirements in the financial sector. You have already dealt with modern IT architectures and data protection concepts, in particular in the areas of cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, encryption and cryptographic processes. You have experience in the implementation of data protection impact assessments, risk analysis and control measures, and you understand how to integrate them efficiently into existing processes. You communicate verbally and in writing in German (C1) and English (B2). You work extremely carefully, structured and with a high sense of responsibility and bring a strong understanding of confidentiality and regulatory sensitivity. You have the right to actively rethink data protection, inspire you for new, innovative topics and develop modern, future-oriented solutions for practice, especially in a dynamic regulatory and technological environment.
