Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) is a strategic control centre: we plan, monitor and manage the transformation of the entire application landscape and work closely and effectively with the responsible agile teams in key strategic transformation projects and initiatives. As an Enterprise Architect (m/w/d), you are a stimulant for this profound change. You combine business visions with future-oriented architecture concepts and ensure that strategic planks are converted into sustainable solutions. Your core tasks include: You plan and control strategic transformation projects to fundamentally modernise core insurance and cross-sectional systems and to transfer them to a modular, cloud-ready and AI-capable target architecture You shape, update and tune robust target architectures as well as migration paths, while keeping track of regulatory requirements such as DORA and industry-specific compliance In close cooperation with domain and solution architects, initiative management and agile teams, you will ensure the feasibility, coherence and high delivery quality of the solutions You define and establish binding architecture principles as well as standards – from Cloud-Ready to API-First to Data- & AI-Readiness – to avoid silo solutions and technical legacy loads You continuously analyze the existing application landscape in order to detect renewal or consolidation needs early and to derive concrete architectural changes You prepare strategic technology decisions for management and steering bodies, represent them convincingly and convey complex scenarios in a comprehensible and business-oriented manner

brings a study of (economic) informatics, mathematics, physics or comparable IT qualification with have profound experience in the enterprise, domain or solution architecture of business-critical core systems, ideally in the regulated financial or insurance environment have already led complex, long-running transformation programs such as cloud transformations, legacy solutions or core system renewals architecturally to success has deep knowledge of modern architectural styles such as cloud-natives, microservices, event drives, APIs as well as the integration of data and AI platforms know the regulatory requirements in the financial sector, such as VAIT or DORA, and skillfully combine compliance with agile procedures communicates strongly at all levels, moderately sovereign and convinces stakeholders from the developer team to the C level think strategically, trades pragmatically in everyday life and brings peace into complex questions as a solution-oriented personality ideally owns certifications such as TOGAF, iSAQB or cloud certificates brings readiness to travel to our locations in Dortmund and Hamburg and communicates with us in a safe manner
