Energy Manager (m/f/d)

The city of Aichtal (approximately 10,000 inhabitants) is located in the metropolis region of Stuttgart, surrounded by nature and diverse leisure opportunities in the Schönbuch Nature Park. For our intercommunal team “Energy and Climate Protection Management” we are looking together with the municipalities Waldenbuch (approximately 8,800 inhabitants) and Steinenbronn (approximately 6,300 inhabitants) for the next time Projektmanager (m/w/d) limited for 3 years, remuneration EC 11

Building and further development of energy management for the properties of the municipalities Aichtal, Waldenbuch and Steinenbronn. Systematic consumption and control (power, heat, water) incl. Building/improving monitoring, key figures and evaluations. Analysis of conspicuous consumptions, building visits to identify potential savings as well as derivation, evaluation and follow-up of measures in close coordination with building management and masters. Technical monitoring and optimisation of plant operation (operation management, regulation, user behaviour) to increase efficiency. Energy procurement and contract controlling: testing, optimization and support in the further development of procurement. Implementation of energy saving measures (invested and non-invested) incl. Documentation and control of the savings achieved. Creation of energy reports and presentation of results in the relevant bodies. Continuous coordination of potential savings measures in the team and with management personnel. awareness and support of object users (e.g. by creating suitable information materials, carrying out information events, instruction and training of masters).

Completed (specialized)higher education in the field of energy, supply technology, building technology or a comparable qualification (e.g. technician/master (m/w/d) with relevant professional experience). Multiannual experience in energy management, in technical building equipment or in a comparable function, ideally in the municipal/public environment would be desirable. Funded knowledge of energy generation and consumption, supply technology/TGA and operational optimization of technical installations. Experience in consumption data analysis, key figures and the creation of energy reports, safe handling of common office software. Knowledge of energy procurement and contract/invoicing control is desirable. Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks (e.g. GEG, EnWG), ideally with practical reference to municipal energy management (e.g. Kom.EMS) are advantageous. Analytical, structured and self-responsive working, combined with a pronounced sense of cost and environmental awareness. Communication and team skills as well as safe occurrence in exchange with masters, building management and administration.
