Corporate Developer (m/f/d)

WCG Wärme Contracting GmbH is a company operating throughout Germany in the field of sustainable heat and energy solutions. The focus is on the development, implementation and optimization of efficient contracting models for decarbonization of the heat market. With innovative solutions, clear growth orientation and a strong operational demand, we actively shape the energy transition.

As Corporate Developer (m/w/d), you support the management in the strategic and value-based development of the company. You analyze market opportunities to increase our market share in Germany-wide heat and/or Energy market and derived from these well-founded organic and inorganic recommendations for action. The resulting strategic initiatives and projects will accompany you in a lateral leadership role from conception to successful implementation.

Strategy, corporate and business development Initiation and management of strategy processes in close cooperation with management Conducting market, competition and performance analyses to identify growth and optimization potentials Development and evaluation of new business areas and active implementation of market opportunities Creation and validation of business cases from conception to implementation Analysis of financial and operational performance to derive sound basis of decision Preparation and support of investment decisions to promote business growth

M&A & Corporate Transactions Monitoring and implementation of M&A processes throughout the transaction cycle Preparation and Support of Post-Merger Integrations (PMI) Creation and testing of term sheets and contractual and legal bases

Portfolio & Product Development Strategic development of the company and product portfolio Analysis and optimization of existing product and performance portfolios Development and implementation of strategies to increase efficiency and market expansion

Completed studies, e.g. in business, economic engineering, finance or similar fields Experience in consulting companies, also in the start-up environment with operational implementation experience Ideally experience in the M&A process and ideally post-Merger integration (PMI) Analytical and structured thinking and approach Communication strength, team capacity Own initiative, hand-on mentality and sense of responsibility Industry knowledge, e.g. in the energy sector, are advantageous
