Consultant (m/w/d) Hazardous Substances Research

The Raw Materials and Chemical Industry (BG RCI) is part of the German social security system. We are a statutory accident insurance company and responsible for nationwide approx. 36,000 member companies with approximately 1.6 million people working. We advise and support our member companies on all issues relating to occupational health and safety. In the event of an accident or occupational disease, we help insured persons with comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation and thus contribute to the best possible reintegration into working life and life in the Community. For the Institute of Hazardous Substance Research (IGF) of the Prevention Department Hazardous Substances and Biological Substances, we are looking for 01 at the Bochum site. planning and carrying out hazardous material measurements in member companies and paying for third parties on their own responsibility; to plan and carry out measurements in member companies of the BG RCI, purchase orders for IGF, to acquire, plan and carry out sub-elements of research projects or of research projects of less importance, but with relevant questions for member companies or various effects on the health of employees, to cooperate in national bodies; to carry out batch measurements and reviews.

a successfully completed university degree (Master, Uni-Diplom) in a scientific field or an engineering field, reliable mastery of scientific working techniques and good English knowledge in word and writing, high method and social competence combined with cooperation and communication skills, basic knowledge of the evaluation of experimental data using suitable statistical methods, Interest in empirical research, knowledge of methods, drafting of research reports, participation in publications, the willingness to partially also multi-day missions, a valid driving permit (guide certificate class 3 or B).
