Heidler Balkencode GmbH, based in Wolfschlugen, and a location in Stuttgart-Mitte, is a family company (2nd generation) with 30 employees. We are experts in the logistics industry and develop and distribute our multi-carrier shipping software, with which our customers ship millions of packages daily.

Become part of our team and start with us on October 1, 2025. You will complete your studies at the IU International University virtual campus. The IU is the first university to offer a completely virtual dual study. With this innovative model you are not bound to a campus and all courses take place online. This gives you maximum flexibility and you can learn yourself.

You work with the support and further development of our internal IT systems and server landscape (e.g. Windows environments, networks, databases) You support the setup, maintenance and testing of our existing software solutions You develop and care for internal applications (e.g. AI based automations) You work on the further development of components around our shipping software You support smaller development projects (Java, C++, Web) You're planning the technical documentation (e.g. installation instructions) You are also responsible for testing new functions or modules

Start your studies at the IU with (special) abitur, a qualified professional degree or as a national. Technicians:in/operator:in You can prove German skills according to language level B2 You have first experience with programming (e.g. Python, C#, .NET, JavaScript) - of advantage You have a basic understanding of Windows servers, networks and databases You are interested in logistics processes and system integration Team spirit, a structured way of working and a high level of readiness Career prospects: If you have successfully passed the final exam, you have the opportunity to take over with numerous development possibilities in the field of in-house developer teams.
