IT Quality Assurance / QA Engineer - Focus on Web Applications (m/f/d)

In the IT quality assurance team, you ensure that our web applications and interfaces are stable, performant and releaseable. You work closely with development, product owners and release management and actively contribute to the further development of our test processes and test automation. Design the quality of our products – structured, analytical and technical.

You take responsibility for the planning, implementation and documentation of software tests of our web applications and interfaces You identify, analyze and reproduce errors in the tools, evaluate them in terms of criticality and support the development team in delivering high-quality software You apply different test procedures for release and acceptance tests and take a risk assessment regarding release release release You work closely with the development teams, release management, product vendors and clients and communicate safely at the interface between the areas You are an important participant in agile events (including sprint planning, retrospective) and strive for a continuous improvement of the processes You continuously develop our test automation, design and implement automated tests and integrate them into our existing test portfolio You support the development and development of our test processes and test procedures and ensure compliance with our quality standards

You bring multi-year professional experience (at least 3 - 4 years) in the software development environment, ideally IT quality assurance You know common test methods and test processes (including functional tests, non-functional tests such as integration tests, smoke tests). You have first practical experience in the development and execution of automated tests and specifically test their results Ideally you have a certification, e.g. ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (if not present, this is part of onboarding) You work with ticket systems (e.g. Jira), understand technical interfaces and have a good basic technical understanding, for example, for building JSON files. You work structured, carefully and independently – and never lose an overview of complex relationships You communicate clearly and solution-oriented and work in the team Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least C1)
