With its national organisations and over 2,000 member companies, the BDEW as the leading association of the energy and water industry pursues the great goal of leading Germany into climate neutrality with a safe and efficient energy supply and of promoting a safe and sustainable water management. Do you want to become an active designer of energy and environmental policy? Do you find it exciting to develop solutions for the topics that really matter? Do you want to support BDEW's EU representation in Brussels in close proximity to European policy and the European institutions? Then ideally start on 1 September 2026 for a period of six months in our EU representation in Brussels as Praktikant (m/d) BDEW’s EU representation in Brussels is the voice of the German energy and water industry in Europe and the first contact person for all questions on European energy, water and environmental policy. As a link between the BDEW headquarters in Berlin, the regional and member companies, it represents the interests of the industry vis-à-vis the European institutions, umbrella associations, regulators and stakeholders and develops the corresponding strategies. In this context, the EU representation informs about ongoing legislative projects and initiatives at EU level and thus serves as an early warning system for the member companies. .
