In this role, you actively shape our Data & AI landscape – with a clear focus on data engineering. After intensive work, the following tasks await you: You build our Data Lakehouse in Microsoft Fabric and continuously develop it You design scalable data pipelines, model data structures and ensure high data quality and strong performance You develop our forecasting systems as well as Data & AI models and bring them into use productively (MLOps) You analyze complex amounts of data and derive sound recommendations for action for our company You evaluiert new trends in the Data & AI environment (e.g. Generative AI) and check their practical application with us You ensure quality through structured tests and code reviews You present complex results addressably to specialist departments and executives, and you also convey sophisticated facts in a comprehensible and precise manner

You have a completed study in Data Science, Data Engineering, (economic) informatics, artificial intelligence / Machine Learning (o.a.) – or you have an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience with You have well-founded programming skills in Python (e.g. Pandas, PySpark, scikit-learn) as well as practical experience in building data pipelines and machine learning frameworks (knowledge in SQL and R are a plus) You have experience with cloud data platforms – ideally Microsoft Fabric or Azure You work safely with Git, CI/CD and modern software engineering standards (Clean Code, Testing) You are going on new tasks analytically, proactively and targeted – and develop structured and effective solutions together in the team Very good knowledge of German (corresponding to language level C1) for communication with our departments and good knowledge of English for technical documentation complete your profile
