As a whole ranger in the area of sausage, ham and meat products, we have a wide range of products with approx. 300 articles that we are supplying to food retailers in northern and eastern Germany. Whether raw sausage, ham, grill specialties, brush sausage or fresh meat - on approx. 10,000 square meters of the most modern production area are our regional specialties here in Rostock. As an employee in purchasing, you will be part of a dedicated team that ensures our production reliably with high-quality raw materials, packaging and resources. In doing so, you communicate directly with our suppliers, compare offers, accompany contract negotiations and continuously observe the developments on the market – always with a secure sense of quality, economy and delivery security. Acquisition of different product groups and operating requirements in close cooperation with the purchasing management Ensuring smooth availability of goods to support production processes Central contact person for suppliers as well as internal interfaces such as production, quality assurance, sales and marketing Conducting market analyses, tenders and price comparisons to identify savings potentials and optimization measures Participation in the care, development and strategic development of the supplier portfolio – from selection to evaluation and building of long-term partnerships Support in price negotiations, annual talks and contracts – from preparation to post-processing Implementation of future-oriented purchasing strategies to ensure our competitiveness Monitoring and compliance with quality standards (e.g. IFS) in close coordination with quality assurance Monitoring market and industry trends, participation in trade fairs and identification of new suppliers and innovations Care and care of customer portals

commercial training or studies in the field of business management, food technology or comparable – alternatively multi-year relevant professional experience negotiation skills, entrepreneurial thinking and decision-making strength Safe handling of ERP systems and sound knowledge in MS Office Very good German knowledge in word and writing, supplemented by good English knowledge Structured, independent and reliable working methods as well as team skills and self-initiative Enthusiasm for high-quality foods and a sense of market movements and trends
