Technical Writer / Technical Documentation Editor (m/f/d)

For our headquarters in Dortmund, we are currently looking for a technical editor (m/w/d). The position is indefinite and can be occupied in full (40 hours per week) or part-time at the next possible time.

After a successful incorporation, you will participate in the course of offer and execution projects, and will develop technical documentation for our machines as well as our construction and renovation projects These include, among other things, the creation of operating and maintenance instructions, spare parts lists and risk assessments for special machines, while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations (e.g. In addition, you will also design technical specifications, performance descriptions and technical descriptions for approval applications in mining and shaft construction The maintenance and updating of existing documentation and document templates as well as standards and regulations are also part of your work environment You work with different planning groups and also communicate with our offices in Germany and abroad as well as after-contractors and suppliers

You have completed engineering studies, are a state-tested technician or have a comparable technical training A further training on the technical editor or first practical experience in this field is advantageous Motivated cross-adapters from the constructive area we like to give a chance fluent knowledge of German and English in word and writing you bring with you; further foreign language skills are a plus Technical understanding is one of your strengths, as well as the ability to convey complex content clearly and understandably You work independently, structured and efficient – you also keep track of multiple tasks With MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint etc.) you are sure to go around; ideally you also have experience with editorial software like InDesign or comparable tools Communication is yours, and you like to work in the team You don't meet all the points?
