In addition, the paediatric patients are supplied with trauma surgery, ENT, eye clinic, plastic surgery as well as oral and facial surgery. Together with the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (approximately 2,000 births per year) we form a perinatal center (Level 2). The neonatology consists of 9 respiratory and 14 intermediate care places, the aftercare station is designed as a mother-child station. In addition, the clinic includes an interdisciplinary children's intensive care unit (4 ventilation places), an infant and toddler station, a school children's and adolescents station as well as a station for psychosomatic diseases. Every year approx. 3,200 patients inpatient care and 3,800 patients inpatient care. There is a close cooperation with the child and youth psychiatry and the cardiology of the house.
