The Schwarz IT supports the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions of the companies of the Schwarz Group. It is therefore responsible for selecting, providing and operating as well as further developing IT infrastructures, IT platforms and business applications. In order to optimally support the departments through IT solutions in their business processes, the Schwarz IT takes up the requirements of the departments in consultations and works together with these professional and efficient IT solutions.

Your tasks

• Together with your colleagues, you will equip the logistics centers of the Lidl Inbound Supply Chain in Europe with state-of-the-art network infrastructure and set the foundation for a highly available network operation. In detail, this means for you:
• Work and takeover of IT project management in initial installation, expansion and modernization projects
• Interface between our international and national Lidl departments, our internal IT specialist teams and our external service providers
• Recording requirements for the network infrastructure of software solutions to be rolled out at the logistics centers
• Cooperation in the design and planning of passive and active network infrastructure (WAN, LAN, WLAN)
• Collection, testing and commissioning of offers for project implementation
• Coordination of the long-distance communication of logistics locations to the company network of the Schwarz Group
• Planning and monitoring of project progress in terms of quality, costs and time
• Coordination and control of our service providers in Germany and abroad until project completion
• Substantive examination of invoices and coordination with our commercial departments
• Planning and execution of appointments at the camp sites for site inspection, progress control, technical acceptance and commissioning of the network infrastructure
• Management of faults and problems in our network infrastructure
• Processing of support and operational tasks
• Coordination, implementation and maintenance of IT security requirements and compliance requirements
• Advising the requesters in change requests with impact on the network infrastructure
• Conception and evaluation of new solutions for the technological development of the network infrastructure
• Technical design of our IT construction descriptions

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in business informatics or comparable study programme or specialist with professional experience or comparable training
• First experience in network infrastructure projects, preferably in the area of logistics location or data center
• Basic understanding of network topologies and IT security
• Fun at the organization and control of projects in an international logistics environment
• High learning and performance motivation as well as willingness to take responsibility within your task
• Good analytical skills to penetrate complex facts and solve problems quickly and structured
• Embossed presentation and communication skills in German and English in word and writing
• Class B driving licence
