Your official office will be held in a contract of employment – at several advertised locations, the setting will be in conversation between you and your manager. Your tasks:

Support in the further development of scalable GIS architectures based on open source technologies (including GeoServer, PostGIS, OGC API) Focus on the continuous optimization of performance, scalability and stability Translation of customer requirements into concrete work packages and implementation in an agile project environment Contribution to the continuous improvement of the user experience through sound understanding of backend technologies as well as close cooperation with UI, UX and front end teams Ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and their business requirements and goals

Your profile:

Complete technical or university studies in the field of geoinformatics, geodesy, computer science or a comparable subject with relevant professional experience Multiannual professional experience in the development of (geo)web applications and geodata infrastructures as well as sound knowledge in the following technologies: Kotlin / Ktor / Exposed, PostgreSQL and PostGIS, OGC API Experience in the development of clean architecture and SOLID principles as well as deep understanding of REST APIs, containerization and microservice architectures Practical experience with OGC services, MVT, LiDAR and Caching standards are desirable Flowing German knowledge round your profile
