About usLK PremiumPack is a leading partner in the European market for the design, development and delivery of high-quality metal packaging. We accompany our well-known B2B customers (including from confectionery, coffee/tea and cosmetics) from the first creative idea to the precise production control of our partners in China and India to the final logistics processing via the port of Rotterdam. As an independent company within the internationally operating Massilly Group, we combine the financial security of a global group with the agility and the short decision-making paths of a modern medium-sized company. With us you are not a number, but you actively shape our global supply chain in a motivated, manageable team. To strengthen our growth and strategic optimization of our import processes, we are looking for a future-oriented transition project, which is divided into two clear phases. .

Your tasks • Your profile • What we offer

PHASE 1: Integration, incorporation & auditing (months 1 to 6) In this first phase, your focus is on getting familiar with our business model, technical product specifications and our current logistics flow. Working together with our existing external partners and our current customs specialist. Interface Management Zollspedition: You act as a central main contact partner for our current customs broker in Rotterdam. You monitor, validate and check all customs declarations carried out on our behalf. Operational compliance testing: You check the accuracy and completeness of the import documents of our production partners in China and India (e.g. commercial invoices, packing lists, connossements/Bills of Lading, certificates of origin). Tariffing & Database Care: You audit and structure our tariff database (TARIC/HS codes). You ensure the correct classification of our decorative cans by means of technical features (such as sheet thickness, lacquering and the suitability for food contact according to Regulation EC No. 1935/2004). Cost analysis: You evaluate the current customs costs precisely and identify concrete financial optimization potentials. PHASE 2: Conversion to Customs (from the 6th month)After successful incorporation into our processes, you will run the migration project to enable LK PremiumPack to unwind its container imports in Rotterdam in the future without intermediaries. Administration management: You control the administrative and legal processes in direct exchange with the Dutch customs and tax authorities (Douane Nederland and Loading Service). Application for the ‘Article 23’ certificate: You are conducting the application and implementation of the import turnover tax shift in the Netherlands in order to optimize the liquidity of our company in a sustainable manner. Software implementation: You select, install and configure a certified customs software for direct connection to the Dutch customs system DMS (Declaration Management System). Customs clearance: You take over the direct electronic customs processing of all our containers upon arrival in the port of Rotterdam. Medium-term project (AEO): You prepare the company for the audit and achievement of the status as an authorised economic operator (AEO / OEA) to accelerate our customs processes in the long term. Regulatory Compliance & Customer Support (In cooperation with the Massilly Group)Centralization of Customer Requests: You form the central internal interface for all customer requests regarding conformity declarations, material safety (sheet, varnishes, printing inks) and European guidelines. Coordination within the group of companies: You work closely with the Quality Division of the Massilly Group to request necessary technical evidence and to perfectly match the conformity documents for our products manufactured in Asia. Administrative document maintenance: You ensure a complete and structured archiving, so that any delivered batch delivery can be immediately linked to the relevant current certificates.

Your profileTraining & experience: Successfully completed studies in the field of international logistics, foreign trade, customs law or a comparable qualification. You have at least 3 to 5 years of professional experience with a customs broker (customs agency) or in the customs department of an import company. Technical expertise: You do not control the rules of customs value, the Incoterms (FOB, CFR, DDP), preferential rules of origin and the European customs systems. DMS/ATLAS experience: Knowledge of the Dutch customs system (DMS) or the German system (ATLAS) is required. Ideally, you have already successfully accompanied a project for self-inspection or application for Article 23 in the Netherlands. Language knowledge: English is absolutely necessary (daily working language with our suppliers in China/India and the authorities in the Netherlands). Flowing German or Dutch knowledge is a great advantage. Personal strengths: Highest precision in dealing with numbers and regulations, absolute reliability and a highly solution-oriented procedure to avoid any container life in the port proactively.
