The church district of Hanover comprises 55 parishes with around 140,000 members, 67 daycare centers, numerous foundations and funding circles as well as a wide range of ecclesiastical life – from city churches to youth and cultural churches. The church district extends over the city of Hanover as well as the region of Garbsen and Seelze – with urban, small town and village character. In Hanover, there are numerous dedicated foundations that focus on creative and sustainable promotion. Faith needs engagement – and engagement needs resources. We are looking for a creative, structured and strategic personality in full-time (38,5 hours) that understands how to inspire people for our concerns and gain sustainable financial support. Strategy, Conception & Cooperation As a staff member of the city councillor, you take over the property responsibility for the strategic and operational construction and the further development of our fundraising strategy in the church district. (Further) Development and implementation of the Fundraising Strategy for the Churches Identification of new sources of income (donations, sponsorship, funding, inheritances) Advising the parishes in donor care, fundraising events and public relations Organisation of trainings, workshops and meetings for main and volunteers Expansion of a network of fundraising partners Campaign & Communication Development and implementation of targeted, transparent fundraising campaigns - online and offline - in close cooperation with the project teams consisting of main and volunteers. Storytelling with heart and mind: design of mailings, cooperation with public relations at social media and web sites Construction and maintenance of a professional newsletter marketing Care and strategic expansion of our online channels Control of Direct Marketing Actions (Print and Digital) Controlling, Reporting & Administration Creation and monitoring of fundraising budgets and campaign plans Analysis and evaluation of measures (KPIs, benchmarking, success control) Responsible for a smooth and transparent donation management in close cooperation with the church office (in particular certificates and evidence of use) as well as for the data quality and further development of our CRM system (donor data, segmentation etc.) Responsible for contract management and funding management (including submission of applications and evidence)

a completed commercial or communicative vocational training with further education in the field of fundraising (e.g. fundraising manager*in) multiannual professional experience in similar function including fundraising management, if possible also in social media and direct marketing well-founded methodological expertise in fundraising Passion for effective storytelling as well as pronounced creative organizational, communicative and advisory skills very good analytical skills and data-driven decision-making very structured, organised and independent working style high digital affinity: You master common tools (MS Office) as well as CRM systems and also think digitally in processes
