The VEGA Grieshaber KG develops and produces level and pressure meters for the process industry and is considered a technology leader in the industry. Every 80 seconds a new VEGA device goes into operation somewhere in the world, a total of 418,000 pieces per year. Every one of them is unique.

Our sensors solve demanding measurement tasks in chemical and pharmaceutical plants, in the food industry and in drinking water supply, in sewage treatment plants and on landfills, in mining and in energy production, on drilling islands, ships and on aircraft. Professional and disciplinary leadership of a team in operational shipping incl. Staff deployment planning, employee talks and feedback and development talks Monitoring packaging quality and analysis of complaints with subsequent derivation of sustainable measures Ensuring a smooth process of packaging and shipping processes in terms of quality, timeliness and cost-effectiveness Control for disturbances, bottlenecks or load peaks incl. Reorganisation of resources and introduction of alternative processes Selection, incorporation and further development of employees Identification and implementation of continuous improvement measures (CDP) Ensuring compliance with statutory, operational and safety-relevant requirements Close coordination with department management, team leaders, technical assistance and your own team

Completed technical or logistical training with further training as master or technician (e.g. industrial master logistics, industrial master metal, technician for operating/logistics technology or comparable) Outstanding leadership experience with clear disciplinary responsibility Multiannual professional experience in logistics, shipping or production, ideal in an industrial environment High technical affinity, ideally experience with automated systems or conveyor technology Knowledge of Shopfloor Management, Lean Methods or CVP Enforcement and decision-making in a dynamic range under time and time pressure Good knowledge of German and English for cooperation in the (inter-)national context
