Number: MER0003MWU In the Accounting & Financial Reporting team, we are responsible for the production, analysis and commentation of the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts of Mercedes-Benz Group AG and Mercedes-Benz AG. In your mandatory practice, you can support us with a variety of HGB and IFRS activities for the field of provisions. The active support in accounting and accounting, creating forecasts and plan/IST analyses are just a small section of the exciting tasks you are responsible for. You will gain a broad insight into the processes and structures of a globally operating group through the close exchange with employees from various fields (controlling, taxes, HR, etc.) and the auditors. On our side, you will also participate in the creation of management-enabled decision templates for various bodies, such as the Executive Board. Our team consists of open-minded colleagues who are not only professionally, but also personally at the side of a motivated internship. These challenges come to you: Take responsibility - accounting and analysis of monthly and quarterly and annual accounts (HGB & IFRS) for the provisions of Mercedes-Benz Group AG and Mercedes-Benz AG Work conscience - performing and preparing analyses in Excel and PowerPoint e.g. deviation analyses on subject-specific topics Action - participation in the resolution of accounting questions and the development of self-recognised potential for improvement Show openness - introduction to the team and active cooperation in projects such as the implementation of new IT tools

degree course Business Administration, Economics, Business Mathematics, Business Informatics with deepening Accounting and/or Controlling or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office, especially Excel Personal competences: Analytical thinking and strategic working Team skills openness, communication strength and carefreeness Other knowledge: Basic knowledge of commercial and international accounting (HGB, IFRS) desirable
