The Medical Clinic II for Cardiology, Angiology, Pneumology and Internalist Intensive Medicine forms the heart centre of Bonn together with the Clinic for Heart Surgery. The entire range of services of modern cardiology and heart surgery is depicted. All conservative, interventional and surgical therapies are carried out and investigated in clinical trials. The clinical study group currently consists of 3 Study Nurses, a study doctor and some student assistants.

In the clinical trial ambulance of the Medical Clinic and Polyclinic II – cardiology, pneumology, angiology of the University Hospital of Bonn, the following place is to be filled in full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time:

Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

The body is limited to 2 years (31.03.2028) due to a third-party financing, and longer-term cooperation is expressly desired!

Your tasks:

• Recruitment and care of patients in clinical trials
• Implementation of study-specific studies incl. echocardiography
• Coordination of cooperation with the higher-level clinical study centre at the UKB (SZB), sponsors and participating external study centres
• Administrative supervision of interventional studies (e.g. negotiations with sponsors, ethics committee, third-party agency)
• Training of the study staff of the site

Your profile:

• A completed study of human medicine including approval
• Interest in clinical studies, clinical-cardiological questions and scientific work
• Knowledge/Qualification in GCP (good clinical practice) desirable
• High motivation and commitment as well as the ability to work independently and independently
• Communication capability
• English knowledge
