EHS Manager / Senior Occupational Safety Specialist (m/f/d)

As a Workplace, Health and Safety (WHS) Manager, you help us implement improvements on site and at regional level. You support your colleagues in compliance with high standards and promote a culture of security and inclusiveness at your location.

Key job responsibilities

• Head of your local team and company-wide collaboration with different teams
• Use of internal reporting tools to analyze data reports and causes to provide management with the necessary information for safety-relevant decisions
• Provision of instructions and organisation for work protection projects and policies
• Promoting programmes to improve safety culture at Amazon

Basic qualifications

• Degree of study or equivalent qualification in accordance with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) as well as certification as a “Technology for Safety at Work”
• Relevant experience in managing a team
• Relevant experience in compliance with local occupational safety laws
• Advanced English and German knowledge in word and writing Preferred qualifications
• Experience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methods
• Qualifications or experience in sustainability
• Relevant experience in communication with different stakeholders, including colleagues and executives
