In our two production teams – Fine-Polishing (more than 30 employees) and Polishing Illumination Systems (more than 40 employees) – you can process high-precision lenses and special parts with challenging, varied polishing and measuring processes at the highest optical level. We manufacture and check our components safely in the nanometer range with the most modern methods. We count on your distinctive quality awareness, your fine-optical know-how, a lot of fingertips and attention to detail. The Fine-Polishing team focuses mainly on complex special parts and highest precisions of shape, while the Polishing Illumination Systems team directly contributes to creating the optical basis for the most modern microchips – and thus significantly shape the technologies of tomorrow.

Your role: In the processing of high-precision optics, especially when polishing, you ensure an appropriate and complete execution of all work steps.

You continuously monitor the process, intervene in the event of deviations and actively introduce suggestions for improvement.

You document manufacturing errors carefully, communicate them to the competent authorities and work with suitable storage measures.

You prepare measuring devices for testing the manufactured lenses, perform measurements according to specifications, evaluate the results and inform the responsible interfaces in case of deviations.

Maintenance and cleaning work on the machines used will lead you through, analyze malfunctions and help to ensure machine suitability.

In the team, you work closely with the relevant interfaces and agree to achieve common goals if necessary.

You have completed vocational training as fine optics (m/w/x).

In the processing and polishing of high-precision optical components, you will bring well-founded, relevant practical experience.

You are familiar with the work in complex process chains of optics production and safely apply prescribed work and process descriptions.

In handling measuring and testing technology, you act precisely, document results in a conscientious manner and initiate the appropriate steps in case of deviations.

You work carefully, quality-consciously and like to take responsibility in a technical environment.

You are fluent in word and writing and are experienced with common software systems (EXCEL, MES, etc).
