In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for a technical application manager (m/w/d) at our site in Essen at the next possible time.

You are the first contact person for our customers in all technical topics. You carry out fault analyses and support our customers and/or develop problem solutions for customers about the technical aspects of our IT4Process software. You identify optimization potentials in the customer's application behavior and advise on their implementation. You perform configuration changes and corrections by remote maintenance on the customer's systems and document the processes. If necessary, you will inform the customers in the correct handling of the software. You support product development by transferring customer requirements to the development department. After successful integration, you will participate in the readiness of your colleagues.

You have completed training with professional experience in IT or comparable. You bring comprehensive knowledge in the setup and handling of Windows networks, Windows operating systems, Linux operating systems and terminal servers (Citrix, Windows). You have skills in dealing with databases (predictive MS SQL server and PostgreSQL). You have practical experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Xen, Hyper-V). You are familiar with hardware architectures and components (server, PC, thin client, printer, scanner, etc.). Personal competencies You have high reliability and care in planning and documentation. You are a team player and have a high level of customer and service orientation. You have good to very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing. Your safe appearance on the phone as well as their high target- and result-oriented working methods complete your profile.
