We are now looking for a Chemical Compliance Specialist (m/w/d) to strengthen our R&D team at the Oranienburg site. As a Chemical Compliance Specialist, you are responsible for the material assessment of our raw materials, preparations and products and ensure compliance with relevant requirements from REACH, CLP and other national and international regulations.

Assessment of raw materials, preparations and products according to REACH, CLP and other national and international rules Examination of the impact of new or amended legal requirements, such as SVHC, Restrictions according to REACH Annex XVII or PFAS, and deriving corresponding consequences for our product portfolio Creation, testing and updating of safety data sheets and product markings, in particular for hazardous substances such as inks, adhesives and solvents answering technical material requests from customers as well as formulation and tracking of material requests to suppliers Recognisable documentation of reviews as well as care and further development of our fabric and product data, tools and templates Close cooperation with the areas Market Access EHS, Purchasing, Development and Sales, in particular for product new developments, supplier changes, substitution tests and certification topics Preparation and technical assistance of internal and external audits in our own field Professional representation of the Senior Chemical Compliance Specialist in day-to-day business and mutual assurance of representation in absences

Completed scientific university studies preferably chemistry; as an alternative, for example, food chemistry, process technology with chemical focus or biology with chemical orientation At least 2 years of experience in the field of material law, product safety, hazardous material management or in a laboratory with regulatory reference You bring good knowledge to REACH and CLP Experience with security data sheets and corresponding software is advantageous Very good knowledge of English in word and writing Ability to understand and practice-oriented communication of complex expertise Own, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation as well as liability and reliability for commitments and deadlines Safe handling of incomplete data and uncertainties willingness to work into new legal areas and professional issues
