In the subproject ''Balanced Scorecard'' of the future cluster ''Electrification of technical organic syntheses (ETOS)' you will explore efficient and sustainable concepts for the use of electroorganic synthesis in special and fine chemistry. The aim of our subproject is to carry out a comprehensive feasibility analysis for the conversion of the chemical industry to electro-organic synthesis processes. In close cooperation with project partners and other ETOS research groups, you develop a process for process evaluation and optimize the integration of these processes into the process landscape of the chemical industry. Together, you will develop a roadmap and the framework conditions for the implementation of electro-organic methods.

In particular, You undertake the following tasks: Implementation of process modelling based on the modelling of the individual process steps while considering the interactions in the overall process Use of methods such as techno-economic analysis and life cycle analysis to carry out evaluations on the basis of the defined sample processes from literature and in cooperation with the partners in the ETOS cluster and especially ETOS project Balanced Scorecard Simulation of the integration of electrochemical processes in process chains Compilation of a detailed literature review on the subject Collection of suitable candidates for the transfer of electroorganic processes to the chemical industry Selection of suitable sample processes described in the literature for evaluation Creation of presentations for meetings in the ETOS consortium Presentation of results at scientific meetings Creation of interim and final reports Creation of manuscripts for publication in international scientific journals

completed academic studies (Master/Diplom (Uni)) in the field of chemical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering with a focus on chemical process engineering or chemistry with a focus on technical chemistry Experience in the creation of models in Matlab or Python as well as flow image simulators such as Aspen Plus or gProms Experience in evaluating process concepts Impressive ability to cooperate in interdisciplinary teams
