Omnibus driver (m/w/d)

The Städtische Verkehrsbetrieb is a private operation of the city of Esslingen am Neckar and with its approx. 200 employees with 67 vehicles annually about 8.9 million passengers. The company is responsible for urban bus transport and partner in the Stuttgart Transport and Tariff Association (VVS).

The employees are employed both in the service and in the administration and in the workshop.

Are you interested in the development of the ÖPNV, have fun to operate modern commercial vehicles and like direct customer contact? Then this could be your future tasks in the driving service of the Esslinger city traffic:

Your tasks

• Transport of people in line traffic / shift operation

• Sale and control of tickets

• provide information to passengers on tariff and route issues

• billing of fare receipts

Your profile

• You have completed vocational training and at least one year of professional experience in driving services

• They are owned by the driving licence Classes B, C, CE, D and DE as well as all certificates under the Professional Driver Qualification Act (BKrFQG)

• You are ready to work in a rolling three-layer system including weekends and holidays

• They bring their own initiative, a high resilience and the willingness to work on new topics

• You have a good technical and linguistic understanding as a prerequisite for obtaining the authorization of an operating bus guide ticket

• a service-oriented, independent and reliable way of working is as natural as friendliness and helpfulness in handling our passengers

• They provide proof of German knowledge at least at the level of B1

• Local knowledge and VVS skills are desirable
