Number: MER0003LKA Our Mercedes-Benz Cars Purchasing and Supplier Quality division deals with these trends long before our customers can experience these technologies in the vehicle. Our employees work here at the interface between classic automotive business and the implementation of innovative developments in and around the vehicle - and worldwide at our locations in Germany, USA, South Africa, China, India, Mexico and Argentina. These challenges include: Preparation and participation in supplier talks/negotiations Cross-functional, international cooperation with internal and external stakeholders Participation in the operational shopping business (Examples in Excel/ PowerPoint, pre- and post-processing of negotiations) Participation in the creation, evaluation and negotiation of new assignments or Resourcing sizes Creation of request documents and quote sets Creation of part life cycles Construction and comparison of different business cases using predicted unit numbers/costs Tracking change management process, tuning unit numbers with development and series management and communication to suppliers Participation in organizing workshops, offering presentations and supplier discussions Evaluation and independent analysis of purchasing key figures

Degree in Economics, BWL or a comparable degree programme Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Practical experience with the creation of presentation documents of advantage Engagement, reliability and team capability Analytical thinking and strategic working Communication and presentation capability Enthusiasm for new topics Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
