Our transporters convince with quality, reliability, high-quality processing and robust materials faithful to our brand promise: Vans. Born to run. For more than 60 years, the construction of vehicles has taken an important role at the Düsseldorf site. Today, the Düsseldorf plant with over 5,800 employees and more than 100 trainees is the largest transporter plant of Mercedes-Benz AG. Since 2018, the third generation of the success model presented in 1995 has already been produced: The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. At the Düsseldorf site, the supplier capacity management VAN is responsible for the worldwide safeguarding of the production supply of the Mercedes-Benz VAN series over the entire product life cycle. To this end, we actively control the consideration of appropriate capacity requirements from the procurement phase, the establishment of production capacity at the supplier, and the adaptation to changed quantity requirements throughout the entire contract period. We qualify the suppliers in logistical cooperation and, in close cooperation with the quality, accompany the timely establishment and auditing of functioning logistics and production processes. When dealing with these commercial/technical work content, we act cross-functionally as a link between production plant, development, quality, sales and the supplier. The following focus areas concern your task: Transformation: Optimizing and expanding existing dashboards, apps and reporting on critical supplier topics using the Microsoft Power Platform New development: Conception and creation of new dashboards and apps to support supplier management System support: Responsibility for the care and maintenance of the systems used Process optimization: Identification and implementation of digitalization potentials to improve existing processes Coordination: Self-conciling with various disciplines to ensure a smooth flow of information and effective cooperation The activity can begin from March 2026.

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated student who is driving digitization with us, has strong analytical skills, and is working on his own topics. The following conditions are desirable: You are studying economic engineering, computer science/informatics, mechanical engineering, logistics/supply chain management or a comparable course of study

You draw your attention through a secure handling of MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint) as well as sound knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)

You ideally have first knowledge in logistic processes, supply chain processes or production planning and control

Experience in the automotive industry or other manufacturing sectors is a plus

You speak German and English fluently

You are team-ready, communication-strong, enthusiastic and have a strong coordination talent
