Mechatronics Technician | Service Technician in the Field (m/f/d)

Our customer is a subsidiary of an international mechanical engineering company and specializes in driving technologies of commercial vehicles - trucks, buses and eff-Highway vehicles. With more than 1,400 employees at 26 locations, our customer develops, produces and sells drive and service solutions worldwide in the field of conventional drives (e.g. transmissions, retarders, compressors, vibration dampers) as well as for electric mobility in buses and heavy commercial vehicles. For his service location in Essen-Leithe, he is looking for a car | Nfz-Mechatroniker (m/w/d) at the closest possible time after collective agreement Metall NRW with takeover option.

After successful integration, you will take on repair and maintenance work on trucks, buses and off-highway vehicles and their components. These include maintenance work and revisions (consisting of finding and disassembly/assembly of various assemblies with subsequent commissioning) performing vehicle and system diagnostics, as well as scheduled maintenance work. Continuous exchange of experiences with your team members.

A completed training as a motor vehicle | Nfz-Mechtroniker (m/w/d) or land and construction machine mechatronic (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification with preferably experiences in the field of commercial vehicles or trucks but not condition. Multiannual professional experience in service/maintenance and repair. Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, motor/drive technology and diagnostic systems. Self-contained, structured and solution-oriented operation, as well as high customer orientation. Driving class B, ideally driving class C/CE - but not condition. High readiness, about 80% (Germany and BeNeLux) with overnight stays. Communication strength, team capacity and safe handling of customers complete your profile. Good German in word and writing; optional English skills.
