At the closest possible time, we are looking for you as an electrician:in / electronic:in / mechatronic:in as a cable measuring technician:in (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the location Halle (Saale).

Your tasks:

• You are responsible for repairing and disabling cable and power supply systems in the field of control and safety technology (e.g. signals, switches and control units) so that our trains achieve their goals safely and reliably
• You are responsible for performing measurement tasks, in particular (cable) fault location and evaluation of the cable quality (copper cable, optical waveguide)
• In addition, you will take care of the conversion and assembly services of cable installations and ensure that they are processed in a professional and on-time manner.
• You always keep in mind the business requirements, economic principles, rules of technology and the rules applicable to DB InfraGO
• You are mainly responsible for the cost-, time- and quality implementation of the measures in the area of the Freiburg networks and occasionally also in the entire Southwest region. All necessary materials as well as modern equipment and measuring instruments are provided to you

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed your training in a 3-year apprenticeship in the field of electrical engineering or electronics (e.g. as an electrician:in, electronic:in for industrial engineering, electrical installer:in, mechatronic:in or in a comparable profession)
• You already have experience in cable measurement technology, troubleshooting, cable repairing and brings with great interest to locate and repair cable faults in the cable systems of the control and safety technology using modern measurement technology.
• With a high degree of commitment and willingness to learn, you participate in internal qualification
• The readiness to carry out cable measurement work, even outside the defined draw-in area, will help you
• You are characterized by transparent communication and a strong sense of responsibility, so your team can count on you at any time
• A class B driver's license and secure and routined work with mobile devices and common computer applications complete your profile
