Number: MER00042GR In Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development (RD), we design the automotive generations of the future. We develop innovative products with the highest quality and rely on efficient development processes. We are already working on vehicles that will secure the technology leadership of Mercedes-Benz AG in the future. All software and E/E systems (electricity/electronics) of the MB.OS platform and their functions of the entire vehicle are secured and brought into series in cross-departmental networks. Within the department E/E total vehicle integration we bring together all the systems of the MB.OS platform and integrate them into the entire vehicle. In order to secure this platform, we develop complex measurement technology systems in our team. If you want to know how software really works in the car, and not just theoretically, then you are right with us! At Mercedes-Benz you work on the next generation of our operating system MB.OS – directly on the entire vehicle. Together with the team, you develop and test measurement technology systems that ensure everything runs reliably. You analyse requirements and understand what our systems need You conduct your own test cases and develop them further You are actively working on measuring technology in the vehicle (incl. construction of measuring racks) You go to troubleshooting – e.g. for cabling or system behavior You support the preparation and commissioning of measurement systems You are part of current projects around MB.OS The activity can begin from August 2026.

That's what you bring: Studies in mechatronics, vehicle technology, computer science or comparable discipline Interest in how the E/E system works in the entire vehicle First programming knowledge (e.g. Python, C#) are a plus You also like to pack practically (mechanical and electric) You like to work in the team and think analytic German and English skills Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
