Specialist IT Security / Firewall und Cloud Network (m/w/d)

You are responsible for the stable, secure operation of the on-premises and cloud networks (Azure, GCP) and actively support the strategic development of modern network, firewall and cloud architectures (Palo Alto, Azure Firewall, GCP Firewall, NSX). Your focus is on firewall and network security, cloud networking in Azure and GCP (VNETs/VPCs, routing, security), (network) integration of modern platforms (VMware NSX, Kubernetes) and you work on enterprise-wide IT and cloud transformation projects. Your position combines operational safety, technological development and regulatory requirements (e.g. DORA, BSI basic protection) and provides support (2nd/3rd level) and network and security solutions documentation. You also support audits, reporting and compliance issues

You have a completed IT degree or a completed IT training with relevant professional experience. Your very good knowledge of firewall technologies (in particular Palo Alto) and your well-founded experience in cloud networking (Azure & GCP) are yours. Experiences with VMware NSX and Kubernetes‐Networking are already brought with you and have a very good understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g. DORA, BSI-Grundschutz). Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Terraform or Ansible is also advantageous. A structured and analytical way of working together with the team and various stakeholders complete your profile.

Salary: You receive a collectively regulated remuneration (compulsory contract for private insurance). In addition, you receive holiday and Christmas money as well as extensive social benefits - including an occupational pension scheme. In addition, a future-proof workplace awaits you.

Homeoffice: Depending on the location and arrangement with your leadership, you can choose between different home office models. At least two days are provided at the LVM campus. In addition to a fully-fledged technical equipment, you will receive a unique home office tray of 800 € gross.

Work-Life-Balance: Our flexible working time regulation with a 38-hour week and 30 holiday days allows you to adjust your working hours in consultation between 7 am and 8 pm. In this case, any overtime that has been completed is of course paid out or can alternatively be compensated for by leisure.
