Advising the Executive Board and the Head of Division Control in key issues of the areas of appeal, regression and violations of the law of prevention and the strategic development of BG BAU in these areas, against the background of amended framework conditions that affect processes and structures in the department Control and coordination of a BG-wide uniform legal application and design in co-operational, contribution- and performance-relevant procedures, taking into account the current highest judicial lines (e.g. developments in the field of accidents at work, pathway, occupational disease law and their impact on the administrative burden of investigation) Representation of the BG BAU to the outside in fundamental questions of appeal and regression procedures and fine procedures of prevention Leading and accompanying actions with strategic importance for BG BAU, in particular the BSG procedures, the BGH procedures and the official liability processes, in particular the analytical preparation and sharpening of the fundamental legal issues to be resolved, in delimitation to mere legal application problems Promoting the professional exchange and knowledge transfer between the regions of BG BAU and the standardisation and optimization of the material processing by setting up appropriate bodies for this purpose. Established communication channels and drafting process specifications for the departments are made available, in particular to cope with the administrative burden of investigation in the case of changed jurisdiction lines Contact persons for external bodies (DGUV, ministries), e.g. in legislative procedures or legislative changes Conceptual and personal development of the Department of Control Law and the Departments of Law in the Regions against the background of demographic change and the requirements for digitization of work processes. This is done in coordination with the relevant specialist departments, and implies changes in the execution organisation, in the job descriptions, strategic support of the regular personnel measurements to be carried out. Development and updating of a number-based control including Objective agreements with the BG BAU regions
