Take global responsibility for our cloud roadmap and drive strategic initiatives from planning to successful implementation, always with a view to sustainable business value. Design and establish our cloud reference architecture, standard operating environments and blueprints and ensure that these are optimally adapted to technical and organizational requirements. Develop, operate and network a modern enterprise cloud platform that intelligently integrates data and applications across locations, systems and technologies. You assume the strategic and operational responsibility for our SAP-AWS landscape in close cooperation with service providers and ensure a stable, efficient operation. Bring innovations to the company by actively driving forward-looking technologies such as AWS, Edge Computing, CI/CD, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures and making them productive. As a central interface between business, IT operations and external partners, build resilient relationships and act as a technical savings partner and escalation entity for all cloud topics. You work closely with various IT teams to further develop our Data Platform and actively promote their integration into the cloud strategy. Control budgets (CapEx/OpEx), evaluate new technologies and providers via proof-of-values, secure the quality of partner services and drive the further development of our cyber security maturity as well as ITIL-based service processes – including transparent reports, KPIs and documentation.

A solid foundation was laid by studying in computer science, IT, engineering or a comparable area and complemented by several years of experience in the cloud and data center environment – ideally in an industrial context. Funded expertise in the design and implementation of complex cloud architectures is an excellent feature, especially in the interaction of cloud, edge and classic infrastructures. Technological breadth brings you through knowledge of AWS, container technologies, CI/CD, DevOps as well as in topics such as API management, integration and networks; Programming or scripting skills (e.g. Python, Java, C# or PowerShell) are an additional plus. Methodically safe move in modern project and working methods (e.g. Scrum, PMI, Prince2) and have ideally acquired relevant certifications such as AWS or TOGAF. Entrepreneurial thinking, a high degree of self-responsibility as well as a good sense of priorities and time management help you to advance themes in a structured manner and to take on professional leadership in a perspective.
