Data protection officer (m/w/d)

This is what you expect:

• You perform all tasks of a data protection officer (m/w/d) in accordance with Art. [for phone number see the original ad] GDPR, § 81 para. 4 SGB X i.V.m. §§ 5 – 7 BDSG
• As a central contact person, you are advising our Executive Board and all departments proactively on data protection issues in the context of new digitalization projects such as the use of AI. You bring impetus and shape data protection as an active part of our corporate policy
• They carry out data protection assessments and continuously check our processes, services and digital solutions for legal compliance. In doing so, you always keep in mind the implementation of all data protection requirements (e.g. from the Health Data Use Act) and ensure their compliance throughout the company with clear specifications.
• You evaluate and document (possible) data protection violations and take over communication with the supervisory authorities and with the customers
• They're driving their own topics. At the same time, as an expert (m/w/d) in projects, you support the areas of data protection and data security related issues with the aim of optimally connecting security and user-friendliness
• By designing training, you are constantly developing the data protection competence of our employees

This will bring you:

• You have a degree in a relevant subject area (IT, law, business informatics) or a certification as a data protection officer (m/w/d). You can also apply for a comparable training background
• At least three years of professional experience as a data protection officer (m/w/d) ideally in healthcare or a regulated environment
• Very good knowledge of data protection law and data protection practice
• Knowledge of IT and data security
• Excellent communication skills and consulting skills
• You like to work independently and solution-oriented
