Application Engineer (m/f/d)

As an application engineer (m/w/d), you implement customer requirements in customized packaging concepts and coordinate the development and validation of prototypes together with our engineering team Your main tasks are: Close cooperation with customer service providers to implement customer needs in sound packaging concepts Technical advice from customers and the sales team throughout the project implementation Development of innovative multi-use packaging solutions from textiles, plastics and steel Self-directing of projects from concept to implementation in compliance with quality, time and budget requirements Coordination of prototype development and validation with the engineering team Cooperation with sales, production, technology and purchasing to ensure smooth project execution Simultaneous management of several projects, defining priorities and ensuring effective coordination between cross-functional teams After extensive integration in Poland and at our headquarters in Bous, Saarland, you are mainly working from home, with regular travel to our headquarters and customer locations in Germany

Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in packaging technology, mechanical engineering or a related technical field We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated engineer who combines technical understanding with project coordination and customer contact skills First professional experience as an application engineer, project engineer or project manager is required Good knowledge of CAD software; Knowledge of Siemens NX is a big plus German and English language skills in word and writing Your main strengths include: The ability to understand customer needs and implement them in technically sound and economically viable packaging solutions An independent, structured and solution-oriented approach, coupled with a high degree of self-initiative The ability to set priorities, stay flexible and work effectively under pressure Good communication and presentation skills A team-oriented attitude and the ability to build effective relationships across cross-functional teams
