Head of Department m/w/x The Albertinen House – Center for Geriatrie and Gerontology has been a pioneer in old age medicine since its opening in 1980. The scientific institution at the University of Hamburg offers comprehensive services for the care of elderly people – from health-promoting strength training to the graduated dementia concept in our federal model project Max Herz Haus. In interdisciplinary teams, we bundle our competencies with the aim of restoring, strengthening and maintaining the self-determination of older people. We develop forward-looking concepts and look for colleagues who, as we are pleased to, have new ways to go with old people.

The Demenz Advisory Centre in the Max Herz House is a contact point for the patient and her relatives. You will receive technical information on the disease images of dementia and also on low-swelling support and relief offers.

IMPORTANT: Because this site is funded by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, it must be fixed for one year in accordance with the project funding (at the end of a calendar year). However, this promotion has been done for many years, and there are no signs that something will change. We are looking for the Albertine House at the next possible time, in parttime (19.25 hours per week).
